I am very excited about my new post as a First Contact Practitioner role working for the Baywide PCN.

My aim is to make every contact count representing and providing a fast access high-quality physio service to patients within the practice.

I have extensive post-graduate experience qualifying in 2010 and have worked as a senior specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist for the local trust for the last nine years.

Additional experience includes running my own private practice, Physiotherapist for National league One Rugby and Physio for Torbay Trojans American Football Team.

I am excited about the future of physios within Pembroke House Surgery.

Dietician

Jade Shields

I trained as a Dietitian at Cardiff Metropolitan University and have worked in Torbay and South Devon for the past 5-6 years.

Before joining the team here, I worked with the local community nursing, intermediate care, and care home teams helping to support people who for lots of different reasons were finding it a challenge to eat or drink enough to keep them well.

If you are concerned that you or someone you care about is not managing to eat or drink enough and/or have been losing weight unintentionally, please ask your GP to consider referring you to me for some nutritional support and advice.
