We offer appointments on Saturdays and Sundays for pre-bookable appointments only – please note there is no telephone or online consultation service available after 6pm during the week or at the weekends.

GP Appointments

Online Consultations

A GP will triage all appointment requests and decide on the next best course of action, this could be a telephone conversation, a video consultation or a face-to-face consultation with a GP or Nurse Practitioner.

Our reception team currently take between 5000-6000 telephone calls per week, the graph below shows our busiest and quietest times, please bear this in mind if contacting us.

Nurse appointments

Appointments with the Practice Nurse and Healthcare Assistants can be pre-booked up to 2 weeks in advance.

In all instances, if calling the surgery the receptionist will ask you for your name, telephone number and a brief description of the problem.

Cancelling your appointment

The NHS App

The easiest way to cancel your appointment is using the NHS App. If you access your GP surgery appointments on the app under the appointments section, you will have the option to view your currently booked appointments and cancel if you are unable to attend.

Reminder message

There is also the option to cancel your appointment using the link provided in the appointment reminder message that you will receive prior to your appointment. If you can no longer attend your appointment you can use this option to cancel.

You can also telephone reception on 01803 553558 and one of our team can cancel your appointment.
